Friedrich Lichtenberg founded a company in 1924 that sells building supplies and materials. After his early death his wife and his daughter Marie-â€Luise finished the company’s new building on Pastor-â€Schmedes Straße (former Pfarrlandstraße).
From 1946 to 1989 her husband Eberhard Creutzig was in charge of the company. In the third generation the company run by Dr. Martin Creutzig moved to Osttangente into a new building, which had originally been conceived as a combined large scale retail store. Since 2010 the company has concentrated on retailing.
